Proposal Module
The Proposal Module gathers technical data generated in the upstream modules and integrates them with your business’ standard templates to build technical and commercial proposals.
The Proposal Module can be customized to meet your standard proposal format. A typical design begins with an Introduction Module where standard documents such as Title Page, Table of Contents, Revision Records, and Summary of Scope are created. All documents can be preloaded and populated with project and customer specific data. All documents can be made available to view or edit during the building phase of the proposal.
Technical Modules of the proposal tool allow the user to quickly collect and collate the technical and engineering documentation generated in the Pele-System. These documents can include:
- Technical data sheets
- Performance curves
- Bills of materials
- Major Buyout Component quotes
- Scope detail and descriptions
- Diagrams & drawings
- Inspection plans
- Quality Assurance
Other documentation can be imported if needed. The Technical Modules also hold standard documents such as:
- Construction (factory) standards
- Standard or customer specific comments to specifications
- Experience lists
- Manufacturing schedules
- Quality certificates (ISO)
- Safety standards
- Other client or product specific proposal items
Commercial modules of the proposal can include templates for terms & conditions and payment terms. Users can have full access to edit these templates as needed, or they can be made read-only if greater control is warranted. Cancellation and shipping schedules can be imported into this module. These documents can also be passed to the commercial section. Service and support documentation can also be integrated. Spare parts listing and pricing can be automated depending on the equipment selected.
The proposal can be enhanced by using the import tool that allows users to include documents generated outside of the Pele-System, such as scanned images, sub-vendor brochures, or unique pre-existing documents.
Publishing the proposal is simplified by using the Proposal Module’s publishing interface. All generated documents are listed in the preferred order and the user can make final adjustments. Users can then choose their preferred publishing option, including PDF, print or Microsoft Binder.
